To colour the footballs I used a small paint brush on a Distress Ink Pad and painted it on.

Creating a Background

Hello and welcome to todays post......I wanted to share with you some pictures of backgrounds I have created. You can create these too they are really easy and alot of fun.

So what are you waiting for? Grab some card stock, some inks and colour in the background. Choose your stamps and  embossing powders, plug in the  heat gun and away you go. You can also do some masking if you want to create more layering of images.
You can make them into tags or use a piece to create a background for a card or layout. Let your creativity go wild.

If you have any questions or comments on todays post just drop me a line.

This is one of my favourite cards so much so that I still can't part with it. Sad I know! I'm so thrilled with the way it turned out. The whales have been colored with Copics.

Butterfly Tag

Hello Crafty Bloggers,

Today I would like to share with you a Tag I made for a wonderful friend of mine.

I started off with a Cream Tag and inked the back ground with Aged Mahogany and Wild Honey.  I then stamped a flower  using black ink. I then placed two butterfly rub-ons on and placed some ribbon through the hole.

Thanks for stopping by....enjoy the rest of your day.

Fancy Drawing Pins

Toooooooooooooooooooooo many BRADS?????????

Today I would like to share with you an idea I found on the internet, and as you can appreciate as soon as I saw it I had to try it.
Lets face it drawing pins haven't come very far in the time they have been out. This is ideal especially for small brads that need using up.
I have used Graphic 45 brads with clear drawing pins. All you do is twist off the back of the brad, mine came off just using my fingers . I kept the backs I twisted off so I can use them as propellas on my next steam punk project. I used Glossy Accents to attach them together. There you have it.....fancy drawing pins!!

.

This will add some character to your cork board. I will be posting some pictures of my cork boards very soon, so be sure to pop back to see them.
