Ballet Box

Hello and Welcome,

As promised I'm posting again today, unfortunately I've had trouble all yesterday and today adding more of the photos I wanted to show you. I will keep trying and perhaps I can get the rest of the photos into another post for you. My apologies to you all. I know it seems like such a tease only showing the outside.

Let me show you around..... the outside.

Checker plate Tag/Envelope

Hello crafters,

Checker Plate Spanner Card

Today I share a men's card I made for my brother. I'm really happy with the way this one turned out.

I started with a black card using a mask  heat embossed around the edges with silver embossing powder. I then added some patterned paper, then I positioned the spanner in place.  I then added a piece of silver card stock I had embossed having cut out a small square window to reveal the spanner.  I then placed a clockwork piece I cut out from a piece of card stock which had been embossed.  Then added an oblong piece down the bottom and added the greeting.  I also added a piece of silver embossed paper to the envelope.

Feel free to leave a comment.

Have a great day.

Bright Tag

Hello crafters,

Todays share is what I call my BRIGHT Tag.  The inspiration came from Linda from Friends in Art
who made a wonderful tag and I just had to try some of the techniques used.

Here is the link cain81art.blogspot.com.au

I had a lot of fun making this tag. So thankyou Linda for your wonderful tutorial.

Crowned

Todays share is a card I made for my sister's birthday. She loves anything with bling , so bling it is.

Firstly I placed some printed card stock onto the card, then placed a piece of printed acetate over the top. I then placed two rows of corner bling in the left hand corner. I used some die cuts from Tim Holtz's Sewing Room die. I purchased a key ring from which I removed the crown and placed some ribbon on it. On the ribbon I added some more bling with Tim Holtz Dry Glitter -Clear Rock Candy.

Hope you like it.

Archaeology

Hello and welcome to Winton Rose Paper Creations...

Today I am sharing a card I made for a budding Archeologist, my nephew. This was a difficult one to layout and I wasn't sure how I was going to tackle it, until a friend of mine came to the rescue and gave me all these die cuts. The bowl, spade, jug and axe were coloured with inks. I stamped the brick wall with a wire fence stamp. The layers of dirt are pieces of brown wrapping paper. There's even a small amount of The Olde Curiosity Papers amongst all the finds.  I also added some hardware to the envelope and when you open the envelope there is another find....an old key.  Hope you like it and can see what I was trying to get across.

Have a wonderful day!

Hope your having a great day

World Time

Hello and welcome.

Today I am sharing......yes you guessed it another tag.

The background stamp is called London Background Stamp and is by Just Rite Paper craft.
The Globe Stamp is called Vintage Globe and is  from Kaszazz, the Clock Stamp was a freebie from a magazine and The Leaf  is a Sizzix Alterations Mini Tattered Leaves Movers and Shapers magnetic Die by Tim Holtz. The inks used are Walnut Stain and Wild Honey. I have re-stamped the globe and popped another over the top with sticky dots. The leaf was also stamped with the world globe stamp.

Enjoy the rest of your day!
