Today I am showing a Christmas Clipboard. I know its a bit early being only July and all. Once I got started I couldn't stop. I am starting to think about my Christmas cards this time of year, it must be Christmas in July rubbing off.
Today I have a very special card to celebrate the arrival of Prince George. Welcome little one.
Papers used : Marie Antoinette Blue Cathedral
Graphic 45 Little Darlings Collection New Arrival
Silver Glitter Paper
Cream Card Stock
Spellbinder Edge Die Fleur Di Lis
Tim Holtz Fragments
Melissa Frances Oval Frame
On the envelope I used Graphic 45 Little darlings range and Kaiser Craft Lullaby Collection Boy rub-ons.
Hope you like my card. This will be sent to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with a picture my daughter drew for them. Have a great day!!
This is a card I made for a good friend of mine. I thought I had previously posted it but hadn't. I wanted to share it because I loved the way it turned out. I used a special paper I purchased from a little craft shop in Victoria called Papercraft Cafe near Geelong. I haven't seen this paper anywhere else.
I started off with a silver card and used a de-stresser on the edges of the card stock with Distress Ink Peeled Paint. I die cut a picture wheel from Grunge Paper with the Tim Holtz Picture Wheel die and stuck various pictures behind it. I used many inks on the grunge board, didn't quite get the effect I was after so then went over it with Distress Stain Black Soot. On the front of the picture wheel I placed some chain, a clock face and three pointers. I also used eyelets through out the card and a initialed circular paper clip.
On the inside of the card I used a rub-on (the books) and for the greeting I stamped Happy Birthday on a piece of Shrinky Dink. I stamped the back also with a grid stamp using Staz-on black ink. I did not heat shrink it afterwards.
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your day.
