Hello and welcome,

Firstly I would like to thank each and every-one of you who take the time to leave me a comment. I really do appreciate it.  Also a very warm welcome to my newest followers. I hope you continue to visit and enjoy your stay.

Now onto Challenge #8.  I am entering into a challenge over at the lovely Linda Ledbetters blog....http://lindaledbetter.com/2014/08/compendium-of-curiosities-3-challenge-8.html. CC3 and this fortnight is using a technique called FADED LAYERS on page 58. You will find this in the Tim Holtz book Compendium of Curiosities Vol 3. You can purchase your own copy here......http://timholtz.com/a-compendium-of-curiosities-volume-iii/
It really is a great book.

This fortnights sponsor is the lovely Linda from the Funkie Junkie Boutique......http://www.thefunkiejunkie.com/

Also sponsoring is the ever wonderful Tim Holtz with a very generous prize pack.

This is my first domino book....hope you like it.

Here I have applied Tim's Faded Layers Technique which you will find in his book. The stencil I used is one of Tim's called Bubbles.

Then I have stamped with archival ink some script and  decorated the front piece from Tim's paper collection and used a paper clip. The #4 is from my stash. I applied two coats of glossy accents.

Karen...I love little domino books and this is such a clever use of Tim's faded layers techique. I am a huge fan of your art...always so beautifully done. This little book is darling. Your faded layers using Tim's bubbles stencil and then the stamped script really makes for nice covers. I love the little paper clips and other embellishments you've used to create the covers, too. So cute! Thanks so much for joining CC3C and sharing your talent with all of us. <3 Candy

Jeepers - so glad I found a bit of time to catch up ... yet another amazing piece of work. The covers are stunning, and the inner pages are so effective with the minimal stamping and those wonderful book page scraps. Love, love it!
