Birds of a Feather Mr. Crows Emporium

Hello and welcome,

First things first. A huge thank-you for all your lovely comments. You guys are awesome!!! I love reading them all, they make my day.
Also a HUGE warm welcome to all 92 of my amazing followers new and old!

NEWS FLASH......When I reach 100 followers I am having a giveaway, so stay tuned.

Wow what a busy month it's been I feel as though I'm playing catch up on all my favourite challenges. Anyway, I have an art journal piece today. I know I haven't done one in a while. I wanted to create a place where birds could go to gather all they're supplies. Hope you like it.

Birds of a Feather Challenge is at A VINTAGE JOURNEY run by the lovely Brenda Brown. Check out all the amazing entries.

My Tim Influence for this piece today was to use his new Distress Sprays....which I LOVE by the way! They spray beautifully and have a really nice finish. I have also used one of Tim's techniques being Painted Industrial which you can find in CC3 page 46.

The Sponsor is: COUNTRY VIEW CRAFTS and they are offering a £10 voucher to one lucky winner.

All I have done here on the background is stuck down some torn book pages and added some texture paste through a stencil. All the embellishments are just sitting at this stage to see where it can all fit. The metal sign I didn't end up using.

Here are the sprays I used for my background.

What's on this week at Sir Crows Emporium

Hi Karen, I love your art journal piece. How creative! I believe the only day I would wish to visit Mr.Crow's Emporium is on Thursday for the Tree Festival. Lovely colors palate and wonderful embellishments. I can't wait to try Tim's Distress Sprays.
